Grossmont Adult Education is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Accreditation is an assurance of quality and a guarantee that courses taken for credit will be accepted by other educational institutions. Teachers are certified in their teaching area by the State Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing.
